Strategy
Iron Tide Command
★★★★☆ 4.4
Iron Tide Command asks you to think a few turns ahead. You're commanding fleets across a shifting map, and the weather system actually matters, storms can wreck a plan you were proud of thirty seconds earlier.
The interface is dense at first. I nearly bounced off it, but after the tutorial campaign the systems click and you start reading the map instinctively. Supply lines are the real puzzle: overextend and you'll lose ships to nothing but poor logistics.
It's not a game for two-minute breaks. Sessions run long because you'll want to see a battle through. But for anyone who likes chewing on a real strategic problem, it delivers.
What we liked
- Deep supply management
- Weather that changes plans
- Rewarding long sessions
