Building a Strong Early Party in Emberfall Saga

The tutorial in Emberfall Saga hands you a decent starting party, but two of the best companions are tucked away in optional areas. It's worth the detour early, before the difficulty ramps up.

Positioning wins fights here. Keep your fragile casters in the back row and use your tank to bait boss attacks. I lost a couple of early fights simply by lining everyone up in front like an idiot.

Don't hoard your skill points. Spending them steadily keeps your party ahead of the curve, and respecs are cheap enough that experimenting won't punish you.

Side quests aren't filler. The companion bonds you build through them unlock combo abilities that carry you through the mid-game. Skip them and you'll feel underpowered right when things get interesting.
