Iron Tide Command: Stop Losing Ships to Bad Logistics
Most of my early losses in Iron Tide Command had nothing to do with combat. I was losing ships because my supply lines stretched too thin and my fleets ran dry mid-campaign.
The fix is boring but effective: build forward supply points before you push. Every advance should have a fallback within reach. It feels slow, but a supplied fleet beats a stranded one every time.
Watch the weather forecast panel, it's easy to ignore and it will ruin your day. I now plan major moves around clear windows and hold position when storms roll in.
Once logistics become second nature, the actual battles get a lot more enjoyable because you're fighting with a healthy fleet instead of scraps.
